Far inferior. Even without speedclears, AB's ROI is lackluster.

No one plays AB to change the territory lines. It's only a "reason" for guilds that want to own a town, and most of them don't even AB (it's way too slow for faction points). Heck, most of them don't even care where the lines are anyway.

I'm not even sure who pays attention to those lines anymore, except when it's an annoyance...like when a rez shrine isn't activated because of faction.

Point is, the whole faction territory thing has no upsides that people pay attention to, and plenty of annoyances that you stumble upon without even trying.
